I’ve had the honour to work at the Volkskrant for 1,5 years as an investigative journalist, on drought and on equality of opportunity. Of that period, I’m most proud of this interactive visualisation of the widening chasm of social opportunity in the Netherlands, beautifully designed by the amazing graphics team of the Volkskrant.
PhD research
Between 2014 and 2020, I conducted research on urbanisation in Accra, Ghana.
